Nova Marketing Agency operates AI-powered phone receptionist systems on behalf of small business clients. This page documents exactly how and where SMS consent is captured, since consent is obtained verbally during a live phone call rather than through a website form.
When a customer calls one of Nova's client businesses, an AI voice assistant answers and follows the script below. All calls are recorded, and recordings are retained as evidence of consent and available upon request.
By verbally stating their phone number immediately following this disclosure, the caller affirmatively consents to receive exactly one automated SMS confirming their call was received. No message is sent to any number that was not provided directly by the caller during a live call to one of Nova's clients.
Nova's business-client owners consent to receive SMS alerts as part of their signed service agreement with Nova Marketing Agency, executed before service activation. This agreement specifies that the owner will be notified by text when the AI receptionist identifies an urgent, time-sensitive call.
| Recipient | Trigger | Frequency |
|---|---|---|
| End customer (caller) | Provided phone number during a call | One SMS per call |
| Business owner | AI flags a call as urgent | One SMS per urgent call |
Any recipient may reply STOP at any time to stop receiving future messages. Message and data rates may apply. Full details are available in our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.
